noguiboot, bootlog look interesting. But I rarely find these to be the lead to the cause.
My computer is starts up very slowly. I have cleaned out the start up folder and ran virus scans and other software to clean out unnessary files but no real joy. Defrag does not appear to help either.
I was wondering if there was some way to see what is strting up like MS-DOS used to do where it showed what programs were starting and what they were doing.
If there was something i could run in XP and see what was going on I think I coud spped up my startup.
Any help would be apprecited.
