Heres a LINK thats clear as mud :),maybe you can get something out of it,or maybe not.
I set up my pc to run IE, Firefox and Outlook Express with limited rights per the instructions found on the following link:
However, I don't think it's working properly. I set up both IE and Firefox to run on limited rights, but I can still download and install applications with both of them. If I'm not mistaken, I shouldn't be able to do these things in my ''limited rights'' IE and Firefox browsers without administrative rights.
To verify that the set up was done correctly, I right clicked on the shortcut for IE. Then, I clicked Properties>Shortcut. The Target shows as
''C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\My Documents\MSDN\DropMyRights\DropMyRights.exe'' ''c:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe''
Start in: ''C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\My Documents\MSDN\DropMyRights''
Target Location: DropMyRights
Can anyone advise me what I did wrong? I am not a computer guru. I just followed the directions for setting up DropMyRights as best I could.
