Driving me crazy

by Howmu / February 6, 2010 2:56 AM PST

I have been getting the window "Security Alert" for several days now and it has me going somewhat nuts. The window can be seen on photobucket: <a href="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn237/hschiff/?action=view&current=ScreenShots003.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn237/hschiff/ScreenShots003.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>.

I have tried everything I can think of to get rid of it including the CNet archives and Google. I have noticed some sites want "Hijack this" logs to try to solve this for other people and I haven't tried that yet. I have run "MBAM" and "superantispyware". I have tried System restore. I have updated and run Avast antivirus scans, all to no avail. Does anyone have any other thoughts on this matter? When I get the Security alert window I have to click yes as many as 13 or more times to finally get to the site I am trying to get to. I will be very happy to get this off my computer.

which was done incorrectly so it won't show the "Security Alert" window which comes up, but it deals with the site I am trying to reach having an invalid security certificate which I know is not so because I can get to it on my laptop.

It was something I found on CNet thar Bob Profit had mentioned. The clock was set incorrectly. I reset it and all is fine now.
