Drivers from flash drive to computer

by teagansdad / February 5, 2014 2:51 AM PST

I have a HP DV7-4180us, running Windows 7. My hard drive started to crap out. I bought a new hard drive and replaced it. I installed Windows 7 on the new hard drive. Before I replaced the hard drive, I copied 3 folders onto a thumb drive. They are Drivers, Driver Store and DrvStore. How do I get the drivers from the thumb drive and install them on the new hard drive in my laptop. Thanks in advance

I would not do that.

I'd use the restore media we created when we get the laptop. There might be drivers at hp.com but I find most folk unable to guess how to use them.

Use Hp.com and the chat feature and ask how to install 7 from scratch if need be.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
