that seems to be a vista only notebook and compaq doesn't have any xp drivers listed.
here are generic drivers for nvidia mobile chipsets: http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf4_winxp32_8.26_11.09.html
broadcomm ethernet drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf4_winxp32_8.26_11.09.html
for video, you should be able to use the vista version from hp since nvidia releases unified drivers: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-55939-1&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=3593084&os=2093&lang=en
I recently put xp on a compaq v3645au after taking off windows vista and am having trouble locating drivers for it, I know some parts may not even have drivers for xp?? i'm having trouble locating drivers that will work with the graphics card, ethernet, sound and more... in the device manager it has a (?) next to:
Base System Device
Base System Device
Base System Device
Ethernet Controller
HP Integrated Module
PCI Device
SM Bus Controller
Unknown Device
Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
wondering if anyone can help me out with any aspect of this? it is preferrable for me to get xp running on here as vista doesn't support several of the programs I need to use for business :/ any help would be appreciated
