Driver problem in XP with SP2

Oct 6, 2004 11:43PM PDT

Assistance please, I am trying to update my Zonealarm but every time I run the install the system restarts without installing. The log report sent to MS says there is a driver problem, but I cannot find which driver is causing the problem.
System is ;-
Gigabyte GA K8N, GeForce FX5200, AMD Athlon 64 2800+, 512Mb RAM, Western digital WD800JB HDD & NEC 2500 DVD r/w running XP with SP2 installed.
Have checked every driver on system and all have MS signature.
I am being driven mad by this and would appreciate any help offered

I don't know of a hardware issue that would target Zonealarm. Try IEFIX (use google.com) to see if the OS is OK as well as removing any and all SPYWARE. If that's clean, report your issue to the Zonealarm's maker at zonelabs.

Thanks for tip. Have run Spybot and removed everything but am getting same result. I don't think it is targetting ZA as such. Message tells me its a video/graphic driver problem as it's not MS Corp. signed, but have checked all drivers on my system and all are signed.
Starting to loose hair over this one !.
