Question

Driver Problem

Jun 8, 2012 1:11PM PDT

I reformatted my Dell Dimension 2400 loaded the drivers and still have a yellow ? by Ethernet Controller and USB Device. I went to Dells driver site entered my tag #44CG051 and the only Ethernet controller I could find was the one I already loaded R64645. I have the disk but this drives isn't there. Can someone help me please I have looked and read for almost two days, words alone can't express my frustration.

Your help is Greatly Appreciated

If you can't find the driver with the service tag.

I'd consider a new ethernet card as a cheap fix.

Hi au-natural,
My name is Rajesh and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell.It seems that the chipset and ethernet drivers are not installed.Kindly install the chipset drivers from the link http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/DriverFileFormats?DriverId=R47822&FileId=2731122667&productCode=dimension-2400&urlProductCode=False and then install the R64645..exe file. Also make sure that the video drivers are installed form the Dell drivers website after entering the Service Tag.Restart the system aned check. Hope this helps
