Driver Not Compatiable w/ Windows

I have access to a Dell XPS Dimensions Model 410/9000200, that is connected to a Belkin Wireless Adapter, and the screen freezes constantly, and the error message: "Driver is not compatiable with Windows," is displayed each time. What steps can be taken to resolve this tech problem?

Which belkin?

I'd check with belkin.com for drivers but people here might find it for you if only the model number was revealed.

Good info on the machine but what about the Belkin.

Try finding it's model number. Or just do it yourself and go get the driver from belkin.com

Which driver?

In reply to: Driver Not Compatiable w/ Windows

Why do you think it's the Belkin driver? Or, in other words, when is "constantly"?
And what does Device Manager tell about this device? Any errors like exclamation mark in a yellow triangle?

Actually I don't think it's the Adapter. The Manager keeps indicating that the connection et cetera is functioning correctly. But, just as soon as I log on to the internet and try to read or send email et cetera..the error message descrubed before appears on the screen, and then the computer freezes. Another error message indicates that the programs are not responding.
