Liquid spill over your laptop is a very common problem. In your case, you have dripped only a few drops over your laptop. That should have been easy to resolve if you have immediately turned off your laptop and dried it.
Maybe the liquid has damaged the video cable of your laptop. If this is the case, then you might want to reconsider replacing your laptop lcd screen. This site has a guide on how to replace laptop lcd screen http://laptoptroubleshoot.com/category/replace-laptop-lcd-screen/.
Never thought I'd be admitting this but we dripped water on it (3 or 4 drops) when it was sitting alongside the couch charging. Don't know excactly where the water migrated to but now the screen is black and doesn't light up.
Any thoughts on the probability of it drying out and working?? or anything we can do?
