dreamweaver help

May 8, 2005 3:17AM PDT

I have Dreamweaver 7.0.1. I just recently installed it. When I create a basic HTML page(haven't tried anything else), all the code comes up black on a white background. I went to VIEW->CODE OPTIONS->SYNTAX COLORING, but it will not turn on. It will not put a check next to it or anything, no matter how many times I click it. I looked in the registry editor and the code coloring option is always FALSE, even if i try to change it to true. Anyone know how to fix it? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, too.
