General discussion

Dreamweaver, Flash etc.

Jan 9, 2006 9:21PM PST

Hi,

I've got Studio MX installed on my system (OSX). I've been using Dreamweaver lately, but then just today when I tried to open it the icon simply bounced on the sidebar and then finally closed of its own accord without opening. All the other MX components do the same.

And I've just discovered that Flash doesn't appear to be working at all anymore, even in my web browser.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Patrick

Quick correction... Flash is, in fact, working in my web browser... just can't open the actual program is all.

Go to the Utilities folder and launch Disk Utility.
Run a Repair Permissions and let it do it's thing.
Try Flash again.

Any different?

It's happening to me too! What do you know other 'cures'?

Hi

I've read (both of) your e-mails. I just wanted to say that the same thing's happening to me too that I can no longer use any of MM Studio software.

I've already done the Disk Utility procedure but no joy. (this was also suggested by someone on apple.com's user discussion forum...)

Do you know any other possible cure?

Thanks in advance.

but you might want to speak with the producer of the software and see if they have any suggestions

Hi and thanks

Hi there

Thanks for coming back so soon. Much appreciated.

In fact I've already posted a user feedback (of a sort) to the Adobe (who managed to buy out the MM) Support site, and had a reply from a UK rep. He's saying something nonsense that I need to phone him up when I have an "activation" problem. I've given him exact state that any of Studio software won't launch on double clicking...

Any other guys on this site have any idea?

Thanks in advance.
