First, I would run Error Checking/Chkdsk per the instructions in the link below:
How To Run 'Error Checking/Chkdsk' On Win2000/XP
If that doesn't fix the issue, there are a number of things to check.. Open the case and make sure all the hard drive cables are securely seated.. And because it could be RAM problem, test the RAM with a program such as MemTest.
Hope this helps.

hello...
So, within the past week I've gotten the dreaded windows blue screen 4 times, and I have no idea why. I thought it had something to do with my iTunes, because the program was always running when the screen came up, and I recently updated it, so i stopped using it, but then I just received the screen again.
I only wrote down what the screen said once, because I didn't think to the first time, didn't want to the third time, and the fourth time my computer didn't wait for me to. What I do know is that there was definitely a difference between the errors shown at least the 2nd and 3rd time, and all times it was a stop error.
I am on a Dell Inspiron e1505 laptop running Windows XP sp2. I have AVG anti virus software as well as anti-spyware software, and run it every day, so I can't see how this could be a virus. The error said:
Kernel_data_inpage_error
Stop: 0x0000007A (0xC07B9A20, 0x000000E, 0xF7344384, 0x3D8F8860)
atapi.sys - address F7344384 base at F7337000, datestamp 41107b4d
Someone help me out please, thank you!
