dragging a windows

i know this is not that important but i bought a laptop and it has windows 7. the problem is every time i drag a window there is always an outline instead of the whole window

can anyboby help me?

When you click a window to drag and drop it are you able to move the window to the desired location or are you left with a distorted "mess" on your screen? Also are you dragging the windows to the left or right edge of the screen? If so then the outlines are by design.

when i move the window the only thing that appears is a gray outline instead of the entire window being moved
