Drag and drop Freezes ...

by cpnfantstk / April 13, 2006 12:36 PM PDT

Sometimes I save my downloaded files to the desktop and then I drag to existing folders. I notice that sometimes there is a freeze where the drag is locked up. I have to go and "end process". This does not happen consistently. What could this be? XP2

A number of things, but it would only be guesswork at the moment.

What we need are your system specs, and what sort of precautions do you take against anti-virus and sptware/malware infections. If you posted this on your profile, then all you would need to do is say "for system specs, see my profile" and there you are, no need to try to remenber everything every time you ask for help is there? By the way if you need to see what I mean, look at my profile. Sure it needs updating everytime you update your machine, but it's a lot easier isn't it?

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
