dr watson postmortem

Hello:
I have a problem. Every time I try to open "My Computer" or explorer an error message comes up stating that Dr. Watson Postmortem Debugger has failed and asks whether or not I would like to send an error report. No matter what I do after this my computer fails and I must close the process through Windows Task Manager in order to get back to normal.
So, I would like to know what I can possible do in order to get rid of this problem. I have read every other post on various websites regarding this topic but nothing has worked. I must admit that I am not a programmer or anything but I am rather competent at computer use in general. If anyone knows how to get rid of this problem it would be greatly appreciated because I need to be able to access "My Computer". Thank you

what have you done prior to the error..

did you install something?

and what is the exact error message.. then try to search in google.

Notes: its probably incompatibility problem in some of the software.

try to uninstall any utility you have, one by one.. (you may installed it back later on)

i.e. After I install SP2, I get the drwatson message, and I fix it by uninstalling spywareguard (and reinstall)

Good Luck
