General discussion

dp review.com web site

When you go to this site, and it listed all the information about all the cameras, is all the information extremely important? In other words, I do not understand all the numbers nor the terminology. Your help in deciphering this information would be greatly appreciated.

It depends.

All of the information can be important if you are trying to dissect what is different from one camera to the next. I'd answer a few questions of "what is that?" but can't type in all the various items since you can use GOOGLE.COM to catch up on the more common terms.

Where do I go to google.com to gather the information that I need to dissect all of the information?

You type in what you want to know about.

Such as...

What is LUX?

And..

What is APERTURE?

Slowly you'll get more information and crawl forward. If you visit a booksstore, notice how thick those books of photography are? I can't write all there is to know in this space. But if you had one or two items, then that's something to dive into.
