but I can't say I have ever seen any reviews/comparisons either. I wonder if that means it is a minor consideration of image editing? I can't say.
Can you answer your own question? How does it compare for you?
I did see this though; http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials/image-resize-for-web.htm , and a bonus, they state, "Genuine Fractals 4.0 was included for comparison".

I've been searching for a while for the answer to this question. I own Perfect Resize 7 Pro (Genuine Fractals) and it is great for resizing. However, it's possible to specify a smaller size, instead of the normal up-sizing the program is known for.
My question is, how well does this software perform compared to other software, like Photoshop, in downsizing an image? Say I want to re-size a 4000 x 3000 to 1000 x 750?
I can't seem to find any information on this, even though it's a fairly common thing to do.
