When I download video files, the file names disappear and attachment replaces it. Rar files come down as attachment.php. What is php and how do I fix this problem?

That seems a server error. Contact the site owner and ask him to fix it.

PHP by the way, is short for 'PHP: Hypertext Processor'.

Thanks for the help Kees. I finally found out the problem - it is a IE11 problem not a website server error problem. The fix is to go to the website (s) and add them to the compatibility view settings.

Thanks for telling.

But the final fix is to contact the site owner and have him make his website IE11-compatible. For the benefit of all his other customers who aren't as smart as you are.
