Downloading songs to Matsui 256 MB MP3 Players

I have a Matsui 256MB MP3 player.
I have connected the player to my PC but I have no idea how to download any songs I have stored on my PC to the MP3 player.

I have an instruction manual but, unbelievably, it doesn't tell you how to do this!!

Can anyone help?.....

Hi use windows media player..(wmp)

Plug mp3 player in.

Open wmp.

Best make sure wmp is in "full view mode", if on the left of wmp you can see your playlists and library etc then you should see the mp3 player there aswell, if so skip next step.

If you cant see the above then prob you are in skin mode or similar, right click on wmp a menu should pop up then select "Switch to full mode"

Select the "Sync" tab (near top of wmp), you should def see your mp3 player, it may not be the correct name, so to double check unplug the player and the suspect device will dissapear, plug it back in and it will reappear after a bit.

Select "album" in the "library" list on the left of wmp.

Select the album or tracks you want to copy and drag them into the "Sync" window to the left of wmp.

When ready press the "Start Sync" button at the bottom of the "sync" window.

Much easier than I have explained when you have done it once..

Thanks so much for your help.

I followed your instructions and it was all going fine until I pressed the 'Start Sync' button. The songs in my Sync List disappeared but a message came up that read 'Error: Windows Media Player' and when I checked my MP3 player, it still read 'no FILE'. (i.e. no songs were downloaded.

Any idea what might be going on?

Hi can you see the player in Windows?

Probably show up as "mass storage device" or similar..

Is it Full?

When you start WMP can you see the player and if so so does it ask u to "sync" first ( so it knows whats already on it)
