DOWNLOADING PROBLEM

Hello,
lam running Win XP SP3 I tried downloading 12 different freeware software like AVG 8.0 and firefox 3 but it will always tell me file is corrupt download a fresh one or it will say fail half way through downloading I am running Dial-up connection this never happen before by the way I am downloading from different area like CNET.COM mostly and others like filehippo.com,www.9antivirus.com,majorgeeks.com and others just to make sure I am not pointing at only one.

Download Accelerators do that a lot.

Fix? Uninstall any and all download accelerators.

some type of download accelerator, they usually corrupt files. I usually use Flashget to help download larger files, but no accelerator.

hey whats download accelerators is it a software.and whats Flashet.I was thinking maybe its the download manger not during its job.is there another freeware out that can downloaded these software with big files and faster.

Download managers with accelerators usually

corrupt files.

Try using Flashget.

Flashget can be downloaded from here.


Now try to download the file from Download.com that you were trying to download.
