downloading Primo PDF

by kyardley / May 1, 2007 5:24 PM PDT

Hi, Am familiar with download process as a rule, however when trying to download this freeware, it does not give me an option to nominate where I want the file to go...instead I get a "thank you for downloading" but I have no idea where and a computer 'search' turns up only a text file. Please help - my acrobat doesn't seem to want to work and a few colleagues suggest the PrimoPDF.

Unfortunately this software is not listed in the Registered file type section and I do not know the hopefully someone else (if not you) knows what this is.

Look in Printers

It's a printer driver that enables you to print to PDF from other applications, such as Word. When you go to File, Print, on your document, the printer box comes up where you select what printer you want to send the document to. Then you select the Primo.

You will not see it listed like regular programs that you open from a shortcut or start menu.

If you are not seeing this as a print option, post back and we'll take it from there.

Hi Sheila,

I know you are probably busy, but considering I don't have the print drive and you advised if I didn't you would "take it from there", I was wandering how long it is likely to take to rectify the problem - I have documents that need to be PDF'd to send to the UK tonight (Sydney time).

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
