Downloading Open Office

by kelray85 / December 9, 2008 4:28 AM PST

I am looking for a place that I can download "Open Office 3". I want to download the installation file {so I can keep it in case I want to give it to a friend or something or even install it again without having to download it again). It seems like the only place I've found wants to install the program while it is downloading. If somebody could tell me where I could download the installation file I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your assistance with this.

I opted to download from

I was offered the choice of saving the file or running it, so I chose Save. That saved the file to my default location, (my Desktop). OOo_3.0.0_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_en-US.exe 142MB, which will unpack and install when double clicked.

Which part of that failed for you?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
