okay, to help you out, you gotta understand that you do not get free music from the internet to the mp3 player unless you subscribe to napster or something. You put the cds you have onto windows media player or some provided program software, then if the thing still doesent show up when youre syncing press F5 and youll be able to see it. okay, sorry if you didnt know that you got free music off the internet, lots of my friends didnt know either.

Copying to your MP3 Player
Oct 2, 2005 7:03AM PDT

Assuming that your have copied your CD's onto your PC using something like Windows Media Player, then your music files would most likely be located on your computer in the My Music folder.
When you attach your MP3 Player to your computer, probably via a USB port, is "should" appear as an drive in the "My Computer" window. Normally you would see the Floppy drive (A), the Hard Drive (C) and the CDROM drive (D). What you should see after you have plugged in your MP3 player, which should be switch on, is another hard drive. It may be (E) and may be referred to as a Removable Drive. If you double click it, it should open like any other drive. Read the instructions and you will find that you probably have to drag your music files to this drive.
That's a start, you should both be able to figure it out from there.
Next time, by an iPod! Then this silly stuff wouldn't happen

Instead of using the supplied USB cable, try plugging the device directly into the computer.
OR
Use a know good USB cable.
