Downloading Irfran

Oct 20, 2005 3:05AM PDT

I posted a request for help yesterday because my firewall or something prevented me from opening the Irfran program. I deleted it today and started over. It worked - I have a question. How come something like this is actually FREE - I don't get it - not in today's world. ps. I was able to open an email attachment in the .tiff and view BOTH pages. I'm sitting here with my mouth open yet!!!

IrfanView is free because

IrfanView is free because the programmer, Irfan Skiljan, is a great guy, a programmer of "the old school" who believes in sharing his creation.

You can send him money, as thanks, but above all else he seems to appreciate just the thanks he gets from users all over the world. He is in Bosnia, by the way.
