Downloading IBM i Series Access 5.1 express

Jan 10, 2011 1:02AM PST

I have been trying to download the i Series access 5.1 for this site and I have not had any luck. Am I doing something wrong? I have changed all my security settings and still no dice. Do I have to pay anything to IBM?

What is "i Series access 5.1"? I couldn't find it in Download.com

Can you supply the full url address please? All I could find was;
http://download.cnet.com/IBM-AS-400-Client-Access-Express/3000-7240_4-15693.html?tag=mncol;6
Is that it?

Also, what does, "not had any luck" mean? Any error messages?

And don't forget;

Please read before posting

If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem
.

IBM i Series Access

It is a software package that allows to access IBM AS/400 iSeries servers using your windows desktop. When I try to download it from CNET it would just stand idle and not do anything.

1. Can you download another program from the same site? Just to check that nothing is wrong with your PC or settings.
2. Can you post the link to the download page, so somebody here can try to download it and see what happens?
