I have Windows XP on a 10 mbps ethernet connection (Marvell Yukon 88E8001) here at college. It seems that whenever I do something that involves loading or downloading, there is a chance that my connection goes out. It mostly happens when I do direct downloads or am loading youtube videos. To get it working again I have to go to Network Connection, disable the connection, and enable it again and it comes back on. The funny thing is that for the past 3 or so months this stopped happening. Just recently I had to reformat and this problem has returned. So apparently I unknowingly did something at some point that fixed this problem, but I'm not sure what. Does anyone have any clues on what might be the issue?
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
