Downloading application for iphone xr

Today i was going to download an application but there is a new method to do this: asking me to cofirm with side buttom at the bottom of the screen and on the right end side a flashing line with written double click to install but nothing works.
Never see this thing before
Anyone can help ??

Where is this app coming from?

For now I use the iTunes App Store and I'm done. What you wrote sounds like a non-Apple app or store.

Problem solved

Need to double click the side button on the iphone next to the Double Click to Install on the screen. Never see this before but this not apply to all application some of them still download as befow

Thanks for the update.

I have an iPhone 5s and 6 in the collection and will keep an eye out for this. Something new and not seen here.

Most if not all of the apps I pick up are done via iTunes on the PC and I just tell it which phone to send it to. So choosing and installing on the iPhone is not done that often.
