what did AVG do with the virus?
what operating system?
if youhave XP you need to disable your System REstore and re scan with AVG.
it will cleanse your system.

Devils Cook, If you're running Windows ME or XP turn off System Restore then restart your computer. You should try a virus scan in safe mode(keep pressing f8 when rebooting then choose "safe mode" when a menu appears. If your system comes up clean after doing the above turn on System Restore again. Below is a link with instructions for turning off/on System Restore for Window XP and a link for Windows ME.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
