Downloaded e-mail not showing up in Outlook Express

I do not know what happened but a few days ago when I opened Outlook
Express 6, it showed in the bottom right hand corner that the e-mail
was downloading but they are not showing up in my inbox. Anyone
have any suggestions to get this corrected?

there might be a message rule defined that tells OE to do that. Did you check that? It's the only reason I know of.

Luckily, now you now where they are, you can move them back to where you want them. No mails lost after all.

Message Rule

There was a message rule deleting my messages and I deleted it. Now things are working good. Thank you because I never thought about checking that plus I don't know how that rule got there.
