Resolved Question

Download Superantispyware

Jan 19, 2015 9:27PM PST

Hello Everyone,

Using - W7,Ultimate. Firefox 35, AFG Free, Malwarebytes free.

Tried to download SuperAntiSpyware. Only succeeded with a 'partial download.'

Turned off AVG and Malwarebytes. - Still will not properly download.

I tried different sites to download from but the result is always a partial download.

I have had Superantispyware in the past, but it stopped working and I removed it and tried to re-download it, with the results that I describe above.

Any advice on how to facilitate the download would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Colinito.

Hello gwrach923,

Thank you for your reply.

In answer to your question - NO!

So, I tried Chrome and it was completely successful.

The thought never even crossed my mind that I should try another browser. Serious lesson learned.

Colinito.

Thank You!

Download on any other computer, store the downloaded file (the install program) on a USB-stick and run from there on your PC. Should work.

I assume you downloaded from the makers site: http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html
That's always the best.

Hello again, and thank you Kees!

I had thought of that as I had done this with something else some time ago. But not being sure if this was "legal" with some free items, I contacted the Forum for guidance on my browser. And, in true Cnet fashion, my problem was solved!!

Ta! Very muchly!!

Hello Kees and gwrach923,

I forgot to mention that I did use the SAS website. And, gwrach923, Yes, it certainly is and one that I shan't forget!
