Does this happen with all files you attempt to download, or just a select few? If it's only a select few, there's the possibility that the file's location on the net has moved, and the link you clicked to get there was not properly updated.
Try downloading a couple of files (popular programs such as winzip) from download.com to see if it will work. If it doesn't, reply back.
Also, in your next post, please tell us what version of Internet Explorer you have, and what type of internet connection (dialup, cable, dsl, etc.) you use.

When attempting to download, hear a song clip, etc., I get message "Internet Explorer is unable to download from (address) cannot find file, or file does not exist". It's a recent problem, as I had no trouble in the past. Using Windows ME. Can anyone help?
