Question

Download of I Tunes

Hi,

I am trying to Download I Tunes but keep getting messages saying I must undo the changes made by the installation earlier to be able to continue BUT then it doesn't allow me to undo the changes when the yes or no shows.

It then tells me that the application support is suspended and the process can't access the file because another process has locked the file.

How would I unlock the file please ?

First uninstall itunes rom Control Panel. Then download the installer of the new version to your hard disk. Then run it.

Hi Kees,

We have uninstalled I tunes but we cannot uninstall the 32 bit application because it says a 64 bit application is blocking tha portion of the file.

Reboot to try again. If that fails I boot to safe mode. Remember that I have no qualms of following Apple's advice about removing the program's folders and can do so with many other tools.
