Resolved Question

Download first pdf file - how to adjust print?

Apr 21, 2014 12:14AM PDT

I downloaded my bank statement today and printed same. Print came out pretty small. Normally, on my windows XP pro, when I did this, the print was normal size, if I can say that. Usually it was a "fit-to-page" thing. I couldn't see a way to download the file and make any modifications. Also, in the past I was using Adobe Reader program. Wondering what program windows 8.1 is using and if I need to download and install the Adobe program and somehow set it as the default program.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,

Eddie

If you're not happy with what is built-in or comes as an app, you download and install the desktop program of your choice (like Adobe Reader, Foxit Reader, Nitro Reader, Sumatra PDF) and use that.

Downloaded Adoble

Thanks, Kees

I downloaded Adobe and was able to make changes as I desired. Printed like I wanted. There are so many new things in 8.1 that I have to assume I just don't know stuff. Example, I downloaded some "themes" for my desktop, looked at them and then decided to just keep one and delete the other two. LOL. It turns out that you can't delete these themes because I downloaded them from Microsoft. What? So I guess the moral to the story is if you want something, its best to "not" use the "store".

Thanks again for replying
