Downgrading from Vista to Xp

by Bunnyfer / March 10, 2008 3:37 AM PDT

I recently bought a Gateway GT5654 Desktop Computer from Circuit City. It came preloaded with Vista on it, and I gave it a try for a week, and I hate it. I tried to go back to Windows Xp, but I am having a SERIOUS issue with getting anything to work. It is all onboard, and the only thing I managed to get working was the video, using the Nvidia drivers from the website. Does anyone have a good suggestion as to where I could find Xp drivers, or is all hope lost and I am stuck with Vista?

if you're having stability issues, vista sp-1 cures most of them.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
