downgrading from vista to xp..

i have purchased hp pavilion 2701tu model.. i am not able to make SATA disable can you suggest some ways to load windows xp or to make SATA disable..

...the your best bet will be to wipe the drive completely using Dban, then make sure to have the SATA drivers ready on a USB floppy.. XP should then recognize the hard drive during the bootup and allow you to install the SATA drivers during XP's installation.
