I went to the DELL site and found the drivers for my model PC. One of which is the SATA drive. Now, this mean that after installing XP I just run this driver and won't have to re-enable the setting in the BIOS? I just thought of asking this in case.
Thanks again,
Hi all,
This is my first post here so please go easy on me :^) Okay, I've read several posts here with regard to downgrading from Windows Vista to XP and wanted to know if after I install XP I must re-enable the SATA drive in the BIOS. Per what people suggested, in order to successfully run XP set up, I should fist disable the SATA setting for the HD. So, once XP and its drivers are all installed, do I need to go back and re-enable the SATA setting in BIOS?
I'm running a DELL Inspiron 530 with Vista Home Premium preloaded.
Any feedback on this will be appreciated.
