What is regarded as a dot net Company?

.Net is a domain name for it related URL'S?

Not really any accepted definition, I think.

My definition: a company that makes most of its money via the web.

.net, by the way, isn't a domain name. It's a TLD (top level domain) like .com, .gov, .org, .eu, .info, and all countries (.uk, .de, .au).

Or lost all of its money via the web.

I also get the dot net question concerning Microsoft's .NET Framework or more at http://www.microsoft.com/NET/ Notice it is called .NET

.Net When your Company's profits (or lost) are made online.

of course, makes sense once you know it.
I did search online before coming here. Googled .Net but could still not find the meaning.
Thanks gentlemen.
