Dorm Theater

Sep 6, 2008 12:47PM PDT

My roommate, and I have a 1080p projector and PS3, with a 105in screen. We need help finding a speaker system. doesn't need to be fancy, 5.1 will do fine. And it would be nice if it wasn't too expensive. Thanks...

I would probably not go too big. Not sure about now, but when I lived in the dorms, people got their panties in a bunch if they heard your system, especially bass. Id get an Onkyo HTS3100 for $300; probably don't need to go any bigger than that.

foremost anymore, or they all need to drive up enormous student loan debt while living middle class while learning? Sorry, I couldn't resist. My own grandson now has the privilege of long term debt for taking Spring Breaks that he somehow felt he deserved. If I'd have known that attitude at that time, I would ahve quickly applied an attitude adjustment.

nmbill,
I lived in adjunct poverty while in school and still managed to run up a hefty student loan bill. I think what we have here is a little parental enabling or a kid that busts his butt working a job while going to school, or mom and dad had the foresight to set up his college and he works a job to supliment.

It's a good gig if you can get it.
