What Office ? Which version ? Certainly not MS Office for Windows ? That would mean killing itself off. If you try to install the Apple version of Office on a Windows OS, it would certainly "Stop" Windows installer...

Same problem here. I tried installing Office XP after installing Vista and it zapped my windows installer.I have tried every fix on the Microsoft board and nothing works. I have even tried reinstalling Vista and keep getting an error message WIndows Installer error 1719.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
