by Josh K / September 21, 2008 2:50 AM PDT

Apparently they have run dangerously low on the letter "g":

Please help! Donate your extra "g's" now!

Do you mean...

Do you mean the 2 times she used the phrase "shakin' up"? Wow, 2 dropped in 9 minutes and 47 seconds when using a colloquial phraseology?
And I assume we are to ignore the pronounced "g"s, in the entire rest of that 9 minutes + clip.
That criticism is so weak it boarders in the pathetic.

Maybe we need to revisit...

Heck !!

Just listen every time he speaks (minus the teleprompter) the number of "ahs, umms, errrs, brumm, mmmmm, oooh," etc.

As if making "great" speeches is what adds quality to a candidate anyway.

As a Southerner

.... where some think we are into afuedin', afussin', and afightin' (so says the old Dorothy Shay song) I admit we are guilty of droppin' our g's in friendly conversation. However, we do know that a g belongs where it does belong, and would always put it there wen we write the word.

I haven't been to Alaska, so I can't say what they do with their g's. As All except the Native Americans tribes there came from some place else, including the South, I suspect that some do. I have been to Colorado several times, but I haven't heard them drop theirs. But there are probably some new resident there that do.

But in case Alaskans do drop their g's, I am going to lock this thread because it is not nice to make fun of a local colloquialism.
