Look around and you see short and shorter warranties all over. I can substitute any maker name into your story but the lesson is the same.
I have been loyal Samsung Owner up until today.
I have bought three TV ALL SAMSUNG and I always recommended samsung to my friends and family members. Last Year I had issue with my Samsung TV. Thank God I had bought the extended warranty from the Retail Store so didn't have to pay anything for the Problem that I had. My Second TV is Acting UP today It's turing on and no video. Called SAMSUNG They said that TV is Out Of Warranty since it has been Manufactured Before May 2009. my TV is manufactured in April 2009 (If i had waited for one more month it would be under warranty). I have read all the forums and everyone is saying one thing that company is cutting corners on the cheap capasitor to keep down the cost of the productions. Who has to suffer US. It seems like that I will be stuck with this bill. Lesson Learned....
DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG TV if you buy it GET A EXTENDED WARRANTY FORM THE RETAILER THAT YOU BUY THE TV FROM...
