I made the huge mistake of Monetizing all my software about a month ago. That means all my software get installed with CNET Installer (i), which for all my software either downloads nothing, or downloads and when it runs, it crashes with various Windows Installer errors. This is true for the 7 machines I tested it on, Windows 7 and 8, IE, Chrome and Firefox, and happens 100% of the time. I have been told that SpotInstall (which is associated with Monetizing and CNET Installer (i)) is the problem. I have requested that it be removed and the CBS people said OK. As of today, it still has not been removed (WHY) and my install attempts still fail 100% of the time. I pay CNET a lot of money to "sponser" my software. It's as if I am paying CNET to advertise that my software is junk. Unbelievable! All I am asking is to remove the bad installer from my software. Fix it on your own time. This problem has been going on for over a month. ---papaTsoftware.com
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
