But I have used the other programs.
Prevx, on my system, was a complete drag. I don't have the fastest processor in the world (1.9ghz) but its fast enough. And, I have plenty of memory (512mb. Running the "usual" array (Spywareblaster, MSAS and Spybot) as download protection, my system ran fine. As soon as I added Prevx to the mix, everything became choppy. After testing it for a month or so, I gave up and downloaded Process Guard.
Process Guard doesn't drain my system at all. It seems to do pretty much the same thing as Prevx. I also use WinPatrol, which does similar functions (but not in totally real time as Prevx does). All in all, I feel it's protection enough and can live without Prevx on my system (but it may run fine on yours).
As far as monitoring processes, I found this utility on the net (but warn you I do not use it and can't assure you it's spyware free):

Have anyboby used Panda Truprevent with other Antivirus applications. What was your experience? Pleasreshare with us. All i know is that it can be very effective against new threats especially spyware installation. But many persons on net complained that it slows down the system.
If you use another intrusion detection programme like process guard, prevx etc( in addition to usual firewall/ antivirus/ antispyware), please tell what is your experience.
Also please anybody can tell me is there any software that i can use on XP to check which programme is using more system resources, memeory etc. I could not get any good informtion from windows task manager.
