Does ccleaner delete updates

When i run ccleaner after AVG updated this shows up.Towards the bottom it mentions update.Are the avg updates being deleted by ccleaner.

CCleaner does not delete the updates themselves. It does, however, delete temp and log files associated with such updates. This is usually not problematic, but it can prevent you from uninstalling some uppdates, including Windows Updates, so if you are uncomfortable with it you can adjust the settings to leave the log files behind.

The applications tab i unchecked utilities,ad-aware & avg

Will that do it.

I use the Applications Tab of CCleaner

I uncheck Grisoft, Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware SE, WMP11 & Macromedia and under Windows, System, Temporary Files. I always look before I delete.
