Maybe the shop where you bought it can tell. Or have a look at the user manual?

Consider repairing such no-name Chinese stuff impractical, uncommon or impossible. Just buy a new one. And keep the user manual and the bill, so you still know what it is in a few years.

i got it as second hand, no manual , no idea were it was bought,and all it needs is a reinstall

Be sure to try XDA Forums too.

But here such noname 7 inch tabs are now under 50USD so even a reload isn't cost effective. That is the pay for the tech time of 1 hour is more than a new tablet.

Drives some folk crazy!

Linux? or Apple OSX?

If it's Linux, which distro? Looks like an iPad or a knockoff of iPad.
