Does A router

does a router change your ip address constitly? or does it just establish a connection for all your computers?????

A router is usually used to allow multiple computers share a connection, via a built-in switch or you using an external one. Now you can use the router to assign IP numbers on the LAN and let them change all the time or never, or have them static. On the WAN side, that's up to your ISP. Dial-up changes almost everytime, while broadband stays the same for long periods of time.
