This usually is a side effect of movement from a single user OS like Windows 95/98/ME to the new multiple user NT (XP) OS.
To use the nonR7BU8 folder, you should log on as the Greene Family logon.
After you move what you want from that one, then use the User Manager tool to remove the account.
Don't fall into the "I'm the only user" trap. A few didn't like this multiple user setup and proceeded to bring it down to one account. Later, a glitch occured and they couldn't logon. Always have a spare admin capable account to get in and fix things.
I have Windows XP Pro and recently re-installed.
Currently, there are 6 folders in the c:\documents and settings directory:
When I boot up, the folder Greene Family.Greene-R7BWU8YM is being used (judging from the desktop folder inside. How can I change to make the Greene Family folder the one that Windows uses to set my desktop?
Should I delete some of the others?
