portable? at home?

There are lots of speaker sets that connect to an MP3 player using the player's headphone jack. Many are portable. I bought a set of Panasonic traveling speakers for my iPod that sound pretty good. And you should be able to output from the MP3 player headphone jack to any good home sound system, too. Have you tried that?

Zen (current model)
by make_or_break / March 9, 2010 5:23 AM PST

Don't think a dedicated speaker system exists. Creative used to have a TravelDock series, but I think that's been discontinued and I'm not sure that it even survived long enough to service the current Zen. Currently they do make a docked speaker system for the Zen X-Fi, and one for another for the Zen Mosaic, but nothing specific for the Zen.

If you don't need the recharging capability built-in, a lot of the speaker systems designed for iPods will work in a similar capacity. The only thing is that it would have to have an aux-in jack and you'd have to get a stereo miniplug cable to hook up between the speakers and your Zen. No onboard control of your device, but at least you'll get to listen to your tunes headphone-free.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
