I see from a quick check that Canada's STD rates are increasing (as are ours). Why doesn't encouraging responsible behavior ever seem to be considered as a viable solution instead of going full bore in the other direction?

... this morning who essentially argued that infidelity was not a question of character, the spouse bore some responsibility (essentially always because they aren't satisfying their partner's need for brain chemicals), and advocated treatment a la that for depression, etc.

When people like this take themselves seriously, I wonder if there is any hope for society!

It's a little lower than it should be. Who knows, maybe this swinger idea will pick things up a little?
