It might be more useful to post the full name, Samsung Galaxy Player 5.8, when posting such questions. It will usually attract more attention then a vague product abbreviation.

As to your question, I can't offer an answer. According to the product release articles on Aug. 27, it was unclear if it will be offered in the US. Hopefully someone may know more and post to this thread.

How would you purchase from Korea w/o being scalped on ebay for $450.00?
They might have a non-compete with google nexus as they made the 10" tablet?????

Many folk are blissfully unaware of the full costs of these devices. Many see the SUBSIDIZED prices and think they can buy it for that. Look at the usual prices of unlocked phones and you'll find the usual many hundred buck cost.
